How to convert an SVG to a transparent PNG
SVG artwork is resolution-independent, but plenty of publishing and editing tools still want a PNG. SVG Studio renders the vector artwork in your browser and exports it with its transparent areas intact. A simple job, allowed to remain simple.

Export the PNG
Open the SVG, confirm the artwork looks correct on the canvas, and use the PNG export. Transparent parts of the SVG remain transparent in the downloaded image.
- Open or paste your SVG.
- Check its artboard and visible bounds.
- Choose PNG export.
- Download the transparent result.

Artboard size versus artwork size
An SVG can contain empty space inside its viewBox, and artwork can sometimes extend beyond it. That is usually where the mystery whitespace came from. Decide whether you want the original artboard or a tight fit around the visible artwork. Padding is useful when the PNG needs breathing room around a logo or icon.

When to keep the SVG too
Use PNG for applications that do not accept vectors or when you need a fixed-size image. Keep the SVG as your editable master: it stays sharp at any size and retains paths, text, groups, gradients, and other vector structure. The PNG is the delivery copy. The SVG knows where the bodies are buried.
